How my commissions work (be advised that anything here can and will be changed on a case by case bases):

The buyer (you) contacts the artist (me) about being interested in a commission, by the means of a note for fastest reply.

Please include “commission” in the subject line and include the subject matter, media, deadline, your offering price, and any other pertinent material.

I then send you a reply. This could be a contract, a counter offer, a “sorry that deadline doesn't work for me how about....”, or even a flat out no.

When and IF i accept your commission then I will require a signed contract before I begin work. This contract will be a Confirmation of Engagement. It will outline the preliminary stages of the commission. Including but not limited to, the first payment to be made and what I am willing to do for that payment, usually a series of sketches.

After you sign the contract I will complete the work as the contract has set forth.



Notice: this is also how I will be doing the initial sketch phase of commissions. A minimum 5$ deposit is required before I begin this stage. Upon completion of the sketches 50% non-refundable payment is required. The payment in full will be required before I place finishing touches on the piece.


I will then require a  reply from you about the work I have done. And a second contract will be signed. A second payment is due at this time, usually 50% of the remaining fee.

Once I have received the contract and the payment I will complete the work as outlined in the contract. I will then send you a "proof"; of completion. I will then make reasonable changes to the commission. I will then send you a second "proof.";

At this time I require full payment. Once I receive full payment, the commission will be sent to you as outlined in the contract.
